Once again, here's my LGB Amtrak Phase V P42DC #174 pulling my three LGB Phase IV Amfleets. Anyways, in terms of news on the division, during September roughly half of the Bear Flats Loop's trackage was temporarily pulled up to allow the removal of a dead tree on the south fence. The south fence also had to be replaced due to the impact the tree's trunk had on the old fence. Last weekend after the new fence was installed, I relaid the remaining track panels on the loop, and now it's currently back into full operation. After I replace the old bent 8-foot radius curves with new 10-foot curves, I plan on fine-tuning the current grading on the Bear Flats Loop, and then work towards laying Phase II of the garden railroad, eventually creating an enlarged figure-eight pattern spanning over the whole backyard due west of the current Bear Flats Loop. Those changes are expected to commence in mid to late-December 2011 onward into Spring 2012.

@ThreeTrainspotters That it does, and it'll look even better when I install the 10-foot curves soon. I do both HO and G-scale, so...

The train looks great on the straights...
Never had such a layout and eventually got "rid" of my Amtrak train and G scale at all. HO is my new "drug" now. ;-)
Anyway, it was fun watching.
