When I was 25 I hiked 200 miles in Death Valley. I was out there a month and saw 14 people total. I was driving a cab half the year and the rest taking long trips mostly in the desert but also the Sierras and mountain ranges in Nevada. Now I'm 52 and almost never get out anymore because of my job and debts. Brother do what your doing as long as you can. With all the money i make beleive me i loved life so much more driving that cab and hiking out into the wilderness.
God Bless

Congrats man! You've got some great videos. The PCT and CDT look awesome. My wife and I hiked the AT last year and are currently planning a Colorado Trail hike. thanks for the videos. Always good to see folks getting out and livin' it up! Cheers to your next adventure . . .
Holy Shit man, that is a long hike. How long did it take to finish? And how was the hygiene and food? Hunting or showering? Or just packing on those MREs?

@Tnate17 It took 144 days, or 4 months and 22 days. Hygiene was pretty decent. It was up to me, but it's not a terribly dirty trail. I showered at least once a week when I got to town. I did no hunting, I don't hunt. And anyways, I spent nearly all of my time hiking. I also ate no MREs. I generally just bought food in grocery stores, and sometime mailed food ahead to myself. Lots more info on my blog!
