Yes, Sunshine is my second favorite movie. First goes to 28 Days Later. But yeah, here's the full song that played during the penultimate climactic scene. Capa jumps across space from Icarus II to the Payload. I just added some screenshots of the movie, so enjoy.

@eacortes I've heard it many times, in movies and in some series too. But no matter how "epic" the scene is when this is played, I'm just reminded that this is specifically from Sunshine, and everywhere else it sounds Kitsch because it's just trying to imitate that feeling.

People with no imagination are what ruin everything. I know plenty of them and now I know 26 more. This movie is amazing and sad. I've honestly never seen anything like it and the emotional route they took with the score is so powerful...people really need to see this movie to understand.

This was a simply amazing movie. And this score really made the end soooo incredible, and it could almost bring tears to my eyes if I let it =P

Using other scores for trailers isn't unusual. Forrest Gump used Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story. And it sounded and looked pretty cool.

Capa touches the SUN at the end-that is-right before he becomes dematerialized/graphed into that thing which is 99.87% of our solar system's matter. I would say that is epic enough . lol. Danny Boyle always seems to utilize the best scores for the moments that they represent.

@bmohappy1 You make a good point, this soundtrack belongs with Sunshine. But its just to good to leave alone, and various movies and shows want to use it now. I just think that Kick-Ass used it best second to Sunshine, it was only in one scene, lasted for like a minute and left you breathless; and Kick-Ass did have its own original score. Yes the movie was not of epic proportions, but the scene with adagio in d minor certainly was, and most would agree that its brief use was well justified.
