i really like your set up just a m-audio ekeys with a macbook pro and a nano kontrol. Its so simple that its brilliant! I want a set up similar to yours i was wondering if i could do this same thing with the macbook air?

@algebraparish Cool, thanks! MacBook Air.. yeah, sure. Especially the newer ones should be fast enough to do some serious audio processing. They've got dual USB2 - enough to connect things. That eKeys is really bad quality, you might consider either the newer Korg Microkey or the Akai LPK25 or something that has a much higher build quality.

Yo I just downloaded it last night, and played around with the arpeggio. I realised you've got ableton running. Can you use it as a VST? I've only used the standalone software...

@sinetwo Yes, I think when you install Chipsounds it'll automatically installs itself as a VST version as well, doesn't it?
