I absolutely LOVE the bagpipes in this, but I think it's somehow mellower than the original.

yeah, it seems that way as Noddy Holder has an amazing rock voice and quite a range. Because this was done a half step higher, the vocals had to be an octave lower so it definitely seems lower energy. If the pipes were played in "A" instead of "Bb" it would have worked out a little better. The things we do for bagpipes...

and i hated that instrument b4 i knew this

Oh thats awesome. This is my favourite song of all time. Hardly anyone has heard of it, especially people my age. Cant believe someone did a cover, thats fantastic. Big thumbs up :D
