carrots always shrink a great deal after dehydrating. you don't want to cut then too big or they'll take forever to dehydrate. you probably aren't doing any dehydrating anymore or are you?

i'm pretty sure if you vaccum seal them & freeze them they'll last really really long...not sure how long tho...maybe a yr i would guess

You HAVE to score the grapes. Boil them for about 1-2 minutes prior to putting them in the dehydrator. They will do a lot better then.
