When you let too many people into a room, they take up all of the good air. In politics everyone's got someone with an agenda, like save the cockpecker owl or free the Kentucky Fried Chickens and all of that, it takes away from the real issue, we are going to never see anything from a politician because if they are going to really change the USA they will make us give something non monetary up (like involvement). Just as a warning, if one makes references to cold snaps/cold weather and then uses that as some sort of irony against climate change, it makes you sound like an idiot. Climate change supposedly deals with the extremes towards extremely high temperatures and also unusually cold temperatures.
