  • That's most likely a common water snake or a queen snake. Both, harmless. In Ohio, you might have some northern copperheads and timber rattlesnakes, you'll rarely encounter them. If you want a pet snake, I suggest you buy one at a pet store.

    Now, I have to say this. If you can not identify a snake, leave it alone, period. Most people are bitten by doing exactly what you were doing in the video.

    I can't believe you don't know the difference between a goose and a duck...O_o
