everyone gives this lens so much bs. you can pull off some pretty decent shots. I just ordered one today for just under 100 dollars on amazon(used of course). show me a lens with better specs for that incredibly nice low price. It's certainly not going to replace a 28-135mm efs lens, but for the price you can make practically doing nothing, it's a really good value.

@DanielBerens Thanks for that great advice! I'll torrent Vegas and CS5. I tried several software but they don't read the format of the movie. You're very correct. I'll try all of it out as you said, and will tell you if I was successful or not.

I'd really like to know how you edited these videos. I haven't found a good software for editing my video clips. I also got a 550D.

@AmoghChawla I edit with is Vegas Pro 10 and Premier Pro CS5. It might not be the software that is giving you problems. This is because the format these DSLRs output video to is the h.264 codec which is a compressed format requiring a lot more processing power. One way to solve this problem is to convert your raw videos into another format before you start editing. A free converter is MPEG streamclip.
I have a fast computer so I don’t do any transcoding
