Chelsie's wish comes true as she dances with Tom Chambers

Sixteen-year-old Chelsie has cystic fibrosis, a severely life-shortening disease. When she was four, Chelsie started dancing as a way of keeping herself healthy, but soon, as she puts it, she fell in love with dancing.

She asked Starlight to grant her wish of dancing on stage in London's West End. Her wish was a big challenge, but Charlie Cox magically came to the rescue and created a one night only show at the Picadilly Theatre to showcase Chelsie's talent.

Before long, Chelsie was rehearsing with a top choreographer from the West Ends Sound of Music, and had been partnered with Benny, a professional dancer. Chelsies talent seemed to have no bounds and she quickly picked up ballroom dancing.

The show was specatular Chelsie took the 1200-strong audiences breath away as she danced the foxtrot with Benny. Chelsies mum said, We were all in tears. She looked beautiful up there.

But the magic wasnt over yet. Starlight had organised one last surprise: a waltz with Tom Chambers, the winner of Strictly Come Dancing. As the audience gave Chelsie a standing ovation, Tom swept her into his arms and spun her around.

Chelsie could not stop smiling. She said, It is really hard dealing with cystic fibrosis. A few months ago I was wishing away this year because it has been so bad for me health-wise. I had just gone down hill so fast and not had any good news. But then I heard from Starlight and they said that they could grant my wish. I was so happy and it gave me something to look forward to. It is such a great thing that Starlight do. They make children like me feel so good about themselves.

Chelsies mum added, It was without doubt the best day of her life. It was the best day of all of our lives.
