Does your van have the optional steering wheel controls (mounted behind the wheel?. If so, there's a possibility the clock spring (in the steering column) is bad. The other possibility is the buttons are corroded. If you're not mechanically inclined, any garage or dealer would know how to replace that part or tear apart the wheel to clean the switches.
