From demonstration at Columbia Aviation Association (CAA) March 25, 2010. Precision Flight Controls Cirrus II category II BATD (Basic Aviation Training Device) with their new PFC430 Garmin control head using their FAA certified version of xPlane v9 and running Reality XP's Garmin 430 WAAS simulation. Club member and Peninsula Airways pilot Alko Noordwijk shows us the GPS rwy 31 WAAS approach in to Salem, OR (KSLE). You can see the panel displayed up on the club's projector screen with Garmin 430 displayed lower right, the instructors station showing the flight path and another computer screen displaying Jeppesen's Simcharts. Pilot is able to control all aspects of flight and navigation instruments from this hardware.
