several months ago, i did a speech in "Public Speaking" about the 2nd Amendment and why its imperative to uphold and support it, and right after me my best buddy did his speech on the importance of getting a Concealed Handgun Licence... needless to say, we blew everyones minds and our teacher said that both of us had one of the most interesting speeches she's ever heard!

Very nice speech. I did the same for my speech class. I brought up a lot of the same points too. I asked what everyone would do if someone came into the room among other things.
Although it's good to take it one step at a time when talking about guns in schools, I don't think it's out of line to bring up high schools. Because there has even been a few teachers stop shootings when they went out to their cars and got their guns and held the shooter at bay.

very good speech...however, if talking about carry on college campus...NEVER bring up high schools.
