@Shafeone Is that (Cold Mountain) one of those "romantic" BS Civil War movies? I'm asking cause I don't know, I haven't seen it. I did watch the trailer of the scene you are talking about and that looked good. I love Civil War movies but I get turned off real fast if it has all that romantic, gushy BS in it (like Gods and Generals) ... just wondered, thanks.

@Gustavflyer Agreed. The Battle of the Crater in the opening of the movie Cold Mountain is the most realistic Civil War battle scene I personally have ever watched. This movie seems like a cartoon compared to it.

@Gustavflyer LOL. How true! These guys are WAAYYY too fat to be civil war soldiers--senior officers perhaps or politicians but certainly not foot soldiers. These guys don't look like they could walk to their corner Dunkin Donuts let alone march up and down VA, MD and PA in june heat fully equipped and weighted down at a pace of of 20+ miles a day!

Awsome movie. I like Sam Elliots performance and Martin Sheens performance. I also like Tom Berengers performance and Jeff Daniels performance. Its just a great movie. I also love the history.
