The color change is just pulling a string on the top that lets an extra layer at the top fall loose. The outside is black-the inside is colored. You pull the string while pirouetting and presto! Seamless color change.
The dance itself was pretty meh, technically. Without the color changes it'd be totally unremarkable.

This is an amazing Piece of Choregraphy , and it was preformed so well , the music fit the dance perfectly , overall just amazing , completely astonishing , good job ladies , good job
