Riding the old and crumby but fast elevators in the Riverfront Residence Hall, in Flint, MI. (This building used to be a Hyatt Regency hotel. It was then made a Radisson hotel, and then it was named the Riverfront Character Inn. This building was sold, and it is now being transformed into a residence hall/dormitory for students at Flint area colleges/universities.) Only students who are living in this building are allowed in, but security let me in, and allowed me to take a quick tour of the building. I got their permission to ride the elevators and shoot a video of them. There are 16 floors (no 3rd floor), but I could only go up to the 8th floor; the 9th floor upward was closed off and is still under construction. Sorry, I know this video is not that great, but it was the best I could do. This may have been the only opportunity I had (and will have) to get these elevators on camera. If they have a grand opening celebration (which I doubt, but what do I know?), I'll be sure to sneak my camera in and get a retake of these elevators.

Nice elevator. And I think the students are going to enjoy having a scenic elevator in their residence.

I think they'll like the scenic elevators, too. There aren't too many elevators like these on college campuses. The scenic ones seem to be more common in hotels and parking structures.
