ネコハエトリ亜成体♀（蜘蛛）アラカルト Jumping Spider

前回紹介したネコハエトリとは別個体の三態。
（1）ネコハエトリは成体になると性的二型の斑紋を示すが、若い頃は雌雄の区別が難しい。赤外線webカメラで暗視しても腹背にネコハエトリ成体♂特有の黒いキ印は透けて­見えなかったので♀なのかと思ったら、スリムな体型や体毛が少なく動きがダイナミックな点などから♂かもしれないとのこと。飼育中なので脱皮後に結論が出るでしょう。ちな­みに、生餌として与えてみたミールワームには全く興味を示しません。
後記：脱皮して外雌器を認めたことから♀と判明。
（2）ノシメマダラメイガに跳びついて捕食する瞬間。クローズアップレンズの装着が間に合わずピンぼけ...。
（3）計測用の方眼紙上を散歩。目が良いらしいが、鏡を見せても特に反応しなかった。お年頃になれば意識するようになるのか？　鏡像に対して威嚇するかどうかなどは個体差があるそうです。

1. Webcam capture in night-vision mode, illuminitaed by infrared LEDs.
2. She pounced on an Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella) for her own meal. I am sorry this scene was totally out of focus.
3. She strolled on the 1mm grid paper to see a mirror. "Mirror, magic mirror on the wall, who's the fairest one of all?"

jumping spiders are so different from other bugs idk, they just have some type of personality... and the way they look at you when ur close up, and the way they move and look around for a place to jump to is just amazing i think.
