My sisters and I were on the Stacey Show in 1976 I believe it was. Harry Stockley( guitar player with blue shirt)and his wife Carol were very good friends with my parents. We used to stay with them and my father played harmonica and banjo on the show whenever we came up from CT.
Those were the good ol' good ol' days of amateur performances on TV. Thanks to Dick Stacy, anyone could be a star...and provide a truly fun night for an audience in Maine and a couple of Canadian provinces. Yeah, it could be corny, sometime off key, sometimes real classy, sometimes (add your own memory here), we never missed a broadcast unless we were sick, out of state, or tied up in an Affair of State. Actually we would never miss a broadcast just to attend an Affair of State!
CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT DAVE FARRIS I THINK HE PLAYED BASS AND SANG? HE WAS MY UNCLE.
