A couple people have asked about the "dimebag Squeels" In my other vids, and wanted to know how to do em. Well theres a video on this site of dime showing how its really done, you can check that out too.
I am By no means a teacher, so If this sucks....oh well. lol. The quality is kinda crappy to begin with, and when I put it on youtube it gets even fuzzier. Sorry. Anyways. Here you go.

Ok select a harmonic. Slide your middle finger under the string a little bit. (Get your pick hand on the whammy bar in the reverse position ready to drop).
On your fretting hand flick your middle finger outward...like your flippin the bird..causing the string to raise off the fretboard...as soon as your middle finger is away from the string, lower the whammy bar.(this happens very fast)
Then quickly wrap your thumb over the top of the neck and mute the E A & D strings. using your ring and pinky fingers or index finger, mute the B and high E strings. Touch the desired harmonic with middle finger(lightly like you would any natural harmonic) After the sound is made quickly remove finger from string.
Then pull the whammy bar back up to the desired pitch. If you add some whammy vibrato it'll sound cooler. And with some delay it will sound even cooler. Keep in mind you must do this really fast. so it sounds smooth!

  • This is true Dimefag fashion. RIP Nathan Gale, thank you for stopping the "dimebag squeal". Even though its a natural harmonic that has been used by millions of guitar players.

  • i don't do that any more with my guitar... that broke up my strings with 2 weeks of use lol i'm lefty too! cool video

  • hehe youre left handed cool

  • @FeirceDiety catch the harmonic on the way back up

  • So do I tap the harmonic while I dump the bar? Or dump the bar and tap the harmonic and Im coming back up... Im confused

  • @mynamesnotwill its a floyd rose that means u can move it either way up or down (it doesnt get out of tune)

  • holy shit is your trem supposed to move that much (i've never used a whammy bar)

  • LEFT PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!! FTW

  • @thozzman It's possible if I understand what trem you have properly, but it'd be more useful if you had an actual floyd or kahler type trem.

  • i came
