I caught myself thinking about the amount of cash I had recently tied up in mistakes. So now I ask do people really consider the cost of buying and education in the antique business. Even though this is a small amount of money to some, it may be a lot for others and should be considered what does it take to educate yourself in life and in buying and selling antiques.

  • Soo true and right on....I bought a Lionel 400e I thought was original and worth 1800-2000 dollars, turns out its a reproduction worth 300-400.....You can't learn that from books and I'll never forget it......

  • You are so right about buying an education in this business, some things you have to learn the hard way. But the key is not to make the same mistake twice. Great videos, keep them coming.

  • @Castlesandattics That is for sure!! What's great is you can earn while you learn!!
