Our Day Trip to Gold Country - Making History from Home Grown Fun

Take a virtual trip to Coloma, California and the American River where the Gold Rush first began. Our homemade video shows highlights of our one day visit along with some of the most memorable facts and images from Marshall Gold Discovery State Park. This park was on the closure list. Last we knew, they were thinking of boarding up the buildings. We panned for gold got "gold fever" and plan to return someday to find "color" on one of the rivers in the Sierras.
