Gossip Girl: Chuck & Blair (+Nate) - I'll Be Waiting

My second Gossip Girl video!! Wow, a new fandom and definitely a new favorite couple! Chuck and Blair are HOT!! SO happy they're together now. After seeing the season 3 premiere I couldn't wait to use the footage. So a warning to those of you who haven't seen the season 3 premiere yet, this video has it in there (although most of it focuses on seasons 1 and 2).

So I was driving home from Santa Barbara this past weekend and got super inspired by this song. When it first came out I had intended to make a Leyton video to it but one or two pretty good ones had already been made so I gave up on the idea. But then it got me thinking again when I heard it last weekend and I thought it'd be good for Chuck's view of Blair. He always seems to be there for her. I wanted this to be solely from Chuck's POV even though the second verse does fit Blair's perspective really well.

Okay, now for the thank yous...thank you to luvtheheaven for reviewing it for me. I know you don't watch the show but I appreciate the critique on the editing. With this video I wanted to try out a new technique that I've been dying to use. I also wanted to slightly experiment with color effects which brings me to my next thank you...a HUGE thanks goes out to alma45 for sharing one of her BRILLIANT coloring effects with me! As promised I will not tell how that effect is achieved. I have been entrusted with top secret information and I keep my promises, lol. So thank you alma45!! (I saved the effects as a group and named it after you, lol).

I hope you all like this!! I worked really hard on it. I have a bunch of Chuck and Blair as well as Gossip Girl in general ideas so I do plan to make more!! However, this might be the last vid for me for a bit of a while. I am moving tomorrow and am starting an internship on Monday so my life is about to change drastically and it might take a bit of a while for things to settle down. But rest assured, I will find a place for vidding in my new life. I have a bunch of ideas and projects in the works so I must get them done eventually! But enjoy this until then!
