I really do think that's what Kate was going for - we've never seen her react like that before... though, now that I think about it, I lie! Shane did react that way, before - when Shane saw Jenny with Moira at the club, that night when Jenny talked Moira into wearing guys' clothes and packing! Alice pointed them out to Shane and she got the exact same look on her face - though maybe a little bit more subdued. It was very obvious that Shane was not the least bit happy!

It does if she's in love with Jenny - in which case, it makes perfect sense.
It's a bit hard to see in this clip, but at :40, Shane has a VERY unhappy look on her face when Tina tells her who Niki is and that she'll be working on the movie with Jenny.
Simple. Shane was jealous. Shenny is happening.
