Debate Panel on Israel: Norman Finkelstein & Wolf Blitzer- 4

The Intifada within the American, Israeli, Islamic Triangle was a debate that took place on the 8th of November 1989 at the University of Pennsylvania .

The debate is famous for the exchanges between Professor Norman Finkelstein and CNN Newscaster Wolf Blitzer. The Panel also hosted Father Martin Jenco and intellectual, Zafar Bangash.

Mr. Bangash, Father Jenco, and Dr. Finkelstein are right. Biased views on palestians as terrorist and subhumans. For that I feel shamed as a human being that people can believe that.

@Salamwamat Hmmm interesting. First of all, I am a Christian living in Germany. I have never been threatened by any islamic force. I feel threatened by civil right destroying laws that my government has passed as a result of the fakery of a foreign attack on 9/11 in America. Our politicians are threats to our freedom, not non-existent WMDs, not potentially built nuclear warheads or bombs for war prevention. The thirst of power at all is a threat!

nope your wrong. Nevermind the fact that lebannon virtually wiped our non islamic religions. It used to be 80 percent chrisitan. There used to be much more druzes now it is mass majority muslim. Like other states muslims enter they wipe out all other religions.

75% of israelis want palestinians to have their own state. They treat arabs with full equal rights in israel. Jews in gaza are simply killed. As well as other arab states. Palestinians and other arab states consider jews pigs and satans and worse. They teach this to their kids from a very young age. Show me one israeli school that teaches the same about palesitnians. You don't see millions of jews saying push the arabs in the sea do you? You have seen the opposite many times.

Question was about the coverage in occupied Palestinian territories NOT else where. Blitz went on first saving Israel arse which isn't even on critique and then drawing comparison bw muslims killing mulslim else where around the world :S. I thought this debate was about Israel Palestine not abt how global crimes vs Israel crimes. Why doesn't Blitz just answer the questions asked. Twisted head.

It's because the Muslims who are de facto Palestinian supporters outnumber Jews who are de facto Israel supporters by about 100 to 1. We can include Christian (and other) Zionists to make up the 1/20. Though of course, there is a variation which comes about by those on all sides who don't accept de facto a an implicit requirement to support of their respective side (ie finkelstein).
