@BenThompson95 No, Its a 2 stroke, it doesn't need to collect oil from the sump or crankcase. Its all in the fuel. Rotate the engine 90 degrees, turn the carb and start it up. Thats all it needs unless its a much more complex 2 stroke. Most of the time this will suffice

@Victa160 They most likely had a piece of metal attached to the con-rod to collect oil from the bottom of the engine.

@Daschickenify Your wrong, all the oil will fall to the bottom of the engine.

@BenThompson95 It will last indefinitely, they were used on some of the first go karts in Australia at a competitive level. As for the horizontal mounting, it will run perfectly as long as the carb is mounted right..... Can't beat a 2 stroke for versatility
