A FOLLOW FOCUS instructs the camera to use a narrow depth of field to show the elements in a plane (blurring anything else), then move the focal range to reveal elements in a different plane. Here, a follow focus couple with a pan, made in Blender3D by animating the DofDist camera parameter and using a Defocus node.

  • how do i get that checkered texture with the colored crosses? i think its built into the program but i cant find it

  • mawc14: open the window type menu (leftmost in every panel) and choose the UV/Image editor. Choose Image/New. There you get the options for creating the 'UV Test Grid'.
