Hello, of course "D"eaf or Deaf community is mean any diversity deaf and hard of hearing are part involve it. that correct. that why barry's vlog make mess up "poison" with teach about "D" or "d"eaf staff. I know and my thought who life in old time 1880 - 1970 are none word hard of hearing type time, just Deaf? "1970 early go to 1980's" make new word hard of hearing is start idea by some where of hearing system?

Glad to know about Abin Sur, woohoo!! I want to show you something awesome from Green Lantern. It's new or maybe a little bit old for like several month. I have this catalog that selling a Green Lantern ring with stainless steel band and also have power lantern. I'm still trying to figure out how to show this and I'd figure you'd be interesting in it. Oh yes, will try to video it so you get the idea of what it looks like.

You're right, "HH" and dividing Deaf people along audiological categories was invented by Hearing people. In my research I found that it seems these categories came up AFTER the invention of audiology (to measure hearing loss) and hearing aids (which allows SOME Deaf to hear more). Before this, Deaf people called each other by Deaf-centered terms -- Deaf, Semi-Deaf, Mute, Semi-mute, "only Deaf". All coming from a DEAF center, not a HEARING center.
