New music video for Gallon Drunk's forthcoming single 'Grand Union Canal', out in October 2007 on Fred [Label] Ltd. Director: Stuart Croft; DOP: Joachim Bergamin. www.fred-label.com - www.gallondrunk.com
This truely what rock n roll is about a driving primal beat, a man with a bruised voice and dancing to drive you mad. This should be force fed to kids in stead of the rubbish they listen to.
@WhoIsDJGalt: No, I like the way Jon Spencer tried to expand the genre in later JSBX albums. Wish he'd finish with Heavy Trash though; we could do with JSBX & Speedball Baby back on the scene.
I agree with your first point though- the 90s were a magical time for garage.
@Tidpole Ha! I was just saying that on another thread. Made Lush seem like the insipid dreary indie pish I came to realise they are (were?).

I remember seeing them in 91 supporting Lush and they rocked.

Seriously the coolest frontman ever. Loved the band in the early 90s, this does not let the memory down, brilliant!
