@planeguy5 The would be amazing so see a B787 come into San Diego! I have only been there once, a while ago, when they had the bad wild fires, on my birthday. It was some birthday let me tell you! My mother goes for work and she always loves it! I am thinking about College there. What do you think? Good move or no? I also love Los Angeles and San Francisco. All I know is I want to get to the West Coast. A bit tired of NYC here.

@ZachAirlines495 Thanks for the compliments I thought it was pretty nice. Quite, smooth, and enough legroom for the job. Get on one if you can :)
Subscribe if you can, I've got nine more flights booked this upcoming years, and I always videotape takeoffs and landings.

AMAZING approach > Great JOB! :-)
@Jeremy: I would like to fly in Sept. 2012 into the US for 2-3 weeks and I search a good "homebase" where the hotels/motels are not so expensive (I fly alone) and where I can fly to different destinations with a couple of airlines.
Is SAN a good airport for this?
Have SAN a good network of different airlines?
I would like to fly in the morning from and in the afternoon/evening back to SAN?
Not daily but often :-)
Thanks in advance for your response.

@zerberus500 Hey, thanks for the comment.
I'd say if you want a cheap home base to be staying at, look in Denver, Colorado. San Diego is limited geographically in that it is so far southwest. Still, definitely visit--it's a fantastic city. You idea sounds fun, but I would really take the time to get to know a place or two, rather than spend a lot of time on the go. But, whatever your choice is, I hope you have a great trip. Tell me what your plans are when you make 'em :)

@TheLiLD95 I love living here because I always get to fly into and out of this airport. I can't wait once the renovations are done--it'll be a whole new airport. Also, I think with the 787 coming out soon, San Diego will get more international flights, which always makes an airport interesting.
Happy travels!
