Nice little tax free business this bag of crap has going. Stupid people give him money so he can buy alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. Why would he want to improve himself?
I know Eric and before anyone else prejudges him, I know he's not some mindless crackhead! I don't know how he got where he is today but I do know he's got more compassion humility and spirituality than those who have nothing better to do than sit on their fatasses in front of their computer and judge someone they don't know just because they have more materials than that person does. And Eric, if you read this know you have support in midtown! This is Jeff and mckenzie. We hope your doing ok.
okay so ppl seem to be stuck on the addiction part of this man's story and not the fact that he is without a home, there are ppl addicted to things all around us ie. sex drinking, drugs, lying, cheating , stealing ect. but the diffrence is these other ppl have a home and no one knows why ppl have addictions, life in general will drive a person to drugs or other things if they are not strong they may feel like if they can only escape life in a dream (the high) if you are perfect let me know
I work and live in midtown and Eric has become a recurring character in my life over the past few years. He may be homeless but as you can see he's gentle, intelligent, and easy-going. He's not trying to play anyone, but like anyone he needs the little things that are necessary to survive. This may mean some panhandling and sweet-talking from time to time but his intentions are always good. If you get to know him he will do his best to return any favor with the utmost sincerity...cuz he's real.
Ive known Eric "Midtown Kid" for 5 years, and yes he may even smoke crack, but he's also given me herb, I've seen him cleaning the neighborhood although no one asks him, he remembers everyone he meets name, and hes never been anything except polite and courteous. He's asked me for money, but hes also asked me for a spare tape player, socks in the winter, a cold beer after i just got a case. Hes a human being and if you call please and god bless yous suckering you out of your money then so be it
don't be fooled, eric smokes crack.anybody that feels sorry for his homelessness has been fooled.he made his situation.he's a nice guy but he takes most of his money he suckers folks out of and buys crack.

@kindfry so he's homeless and addicted...how do you suggest he remedies that situation? Offer advice instead of condemnation.
