"It Must Be Fate" A Jemi/ Nelena Story: Episode 1

The Present
*Los Angeles, California. The city that will make or break you. In this case, it exploded the popularity of three average brothers from New Jersey. Though they were all good-looking, they shocked everyone with their musical talent. L.A. also helped two best friends achieve fame, even when they were too little to understand what they were doing. These two friends were cast in Barney and Friends and instantly became closer than close. Now they have achieved monumental greatness through a extremely popular television channel designed for pre-teens. Through the past few years, we have watched the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez grow up and mature. Now, we have confirmed the rumors that Joe Jonas ( the middle one) is engaged to co-star and girlfriend, Demi Lovato. The female population has just been hit by an devastating blow and to make it worse for female fans, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez (who have been dating for over 3 years) seem to be getting more serious. K- (shutting off TV and clearly upset) is this a joke?
J- what?
K- they didnt even mention me!
J- they didnt mention names until the last 3 seconds, Kev!
K- its not a surprise, anyone whos anyone knows about your engagement and with all of Nick and Selenas PDA, the paparazzi have a field day.
N- then get yourself a woman!
K- wow Nick, thanks for that piece of advice that was just over-flowing with helpful tips. Im so glad I have you guys around all the time.
* They hear the door open and close, and the sound of metal keys hitting the marble counter top. Demi Lovato walks in one second later.*
D- Hi Sweetie, Im back (going over and kissing Joe) whats up guys? (sitting across Joes lap)
N- Kevins upset because he doesnt have a woman in his life
D- (completely joking, but appears serious) I hear Miley Cyrus is always available these days.
*all but Kevin are hysterical*
K- thanks Demi, I appreciate all your concern and help with my situation
D- (goes over and hugs him) I love you Kev! Ask Selena for help with the dating thing since she knows a lot of people.
K- fine, I will
N- speaking of Selena, shouldnt she be home by now?
D- any minute, she had to stop at the store for more of those protein bars she is hooked on.
*Just then they hear the door slam, and Selena talking loudly on her cell phone and eating one of her signature protein bars.*
S- (walking in, on the phone, and chewing her bar)- I heard you Mom! Dont buy those magazines then. Whatever. Ill talk to you later.
D- ( yells into Selenas phone) Hi Jodie!
S- (to Demi) she says hi back (to mom) Ill just call you tomorrow mom. Fine. Love you too, bye (hangs up) UGH!!! Shes so annoying!
D- whats wrong Selly?
S- she is obsessed with buying those gossip magazines and she believes most of the stuff inside and she didnt like what she saw or read.
D- about you and Nick?
S- no, of me and you! YES! Of me and Nick
D- so? Who cares?
S- (calming down) Im sorry Nick, I forgot to say hello (kisses him)
N- its ok (kisses her again)
J- hey Sel, you have to hook Kev up with a woman since hes in denial.
S- oh, no problem Kev
K- (smiles) really?
S- absolutely, Ill make a few calls later
D- does anyone have any plans tonight?
S- nope, Im free
N- me too
K- I have no life so I am too
J- and Im wherever you are my love.
D- well I dont have any plans either. So does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for something to do?
