Atrix HDMI Mirroring

Finally, an easier solution to have true landscape HDMI mirroring for the Motorola Atrix. Information on how to do this is here, still a little unstable, as explained below

This is just me and my friend testing out the functionality, notice how when I play a youtube video, my phone's screen shows nothing, but the tv still shows the video. All credit goes to starrwarrior who figured out how to get it to work in the first place.

My phone is rooted, unlocked, and running the Alien Rom version #3.

One big problem that I had when doing this is that when I installed it, all of my apps would force close. With the exception of a few such as camera, market, dialer(so it still works as a phone) and text messaging, I had to manually uninstall and reinstall each app. I probably installed it an incorrect way and there is most likely a less-damaging way to do it. Other than that, it works flawlessly.

@ltcmdrthompson uhh i think its just stock gingerbread. When i go to "Input method" it says "Multi-Touch Keyboard" Might've come with the Alien rom

I think you can help me on this thousands of thanks in advance,i followed the steps that you have given but unfortunately after completing the entire steps, i connected my HDMI cable to mobile no response its not showing POPUP menu to select Entertainment center all i get is TV screen with RED Motorola LOGO, if you have any solution for this OR is there any way to roll back to previous state, i have already tried changing rom still no USE, FYI Mobile is rooted, TheDarkSide3.2 Rom,2.3.5, 4.5.133
