This is the ORIGINAL version which I think is the best. I picked up a CD of their(Shenandoah) Greatest hits and they have a modern version of it on there without the cowbell(Is that it?) that is hit during the end of the song. I like it especially for that alone!

This originally came from their '90 album "Extra Mile". It's also found on their '92 "Greatest Hits" cd and "Super Hits", which is a rerelease of GH with different cover art. You can also get this on a cd called "Coming Home", which contains songs from both "Extra Mile" and their 2nd album "The Road Not Taken" (1989). Shenandoah rerecorded the song for their '96 album "Now and Then" and that verison is also found on "15 Favorites" and "Certified Hits" They are my fav band, can you tell? LOL

Now this is country music, most of the shit called Country these days ain't Country Western. Rather than selling out, to get more fans and money Country Singers and Stations should stick their roots. the 90's was the last Decade of Great Country in my Opinion.
