  • is the kid on 2:46 his son ?

  • no, he's not

  • uuuhhhh how about NOOOOOOOOO! a lot of respect for the shaolin monks a long long time ago but now there just acrobats, i mean really good acrobats! Stop spreading the lies!

  • not too sure what you mean when you say lies...I never met a Shaolin monk when all started so I can not make a comparison with a modern Shaolin martial artist but I think that even what you call acrobatics require the cultivation and development of virtues such as discipline, perseverance, will power and clear and focused states of mind which go far beyond simple physical fitness; at least this is what I think...

  • @martialmethod Spreading lies? Shaolin kung fu is not all acrobatics. Clearly you don't know much about it. Do a bit of research on it, and by that I mean traditional shaolin kung fu.

  • @Helix144 I hope that you are not implying that Tang Long uses your 'green technique,' as it is far from what you seem to perceive it as being. Not only are lessons cheap, but the techniques taught are authentic and very easy to get a hang of. You don't need to start from an early age as you naturally will improve over time, and trust me, i have seen people improve to a professional level in just over two years training at this school, so I would advise you visiting before criticizing it.

  • Dus anyone know a book for the forms or Kung Fu they teach I'm new and want to catch up and practice at home??

  • ....great...

  • @Helix144 underground cage fighter?? for real??

  • @kungfukaren That's very interesting, my master is 36th generation of the I-Chuan branch, He's practiced since 4 yrs of age, was taught by a entire monastery, has masterful proficiency in multiple forms: 5 animals, Bagua, Ching-I, Tai-chi, etc., was a young master at 16, had to endure a 36 hr test to acquire that mastery, he was an underground cage fighter and never lost. One time he told me to watch old Zatoichi films. "The people in those films move like people when they really fight."

  • @LifeArtsMedia There is a term in Martial business, it's called a green technique. A tech. that is really flashy, hard to do and very impractical, but it keeps the student coming back and spending their green or money. It seems that unless you've been practicing wushu since adolescence, you'll be mediocre at best and self defense will have a high improvability, but I guess you can always nurse your wounds with ideas of developed virtues, plus don't forget to pay your monthly fees. : \

  • @martialmethod I've heard the rumor that the Martial Monks died off along time ago.

  • @LifeArtsMedia excellent retort. well said
