@TheMinistryofMe As have said Farmers will NOT go broke and their cattle will NOT starve cause Australian Govt just gave Farmers $30 Million to prevent this! Yes there are hundreds of Abattoirs in Indonesia and NON if them have animal welfare law! They ALL practice the INHUMANE "\Halal" slaughter! SO I say again re open Aus Abattoirs and BUILD more so ALL animals can be processed here! Farmers sell to Aus Abattoirs NO lose of income, READ about NZ better off after the live export ban!

@TheMinistryofMe I'm glad to hear you look after your animals, your family should want the animals to be slaughtered Humanely not in some Indonesian or Arab Abattoir where there are NO animal welfare standards. Banning live export is the ONLY way to prevent this and put some control back in to your hands! Re opening Abattoirs that were closed due to live export and building some new ones is the ONLY answer, NZ banned live export 4 years ago and NO Farmers went broke, don't believe MLA !

why dont u get in a pen ,then get bittin by sheep dogs, no water no food,thats in yards then get on a truck that is over loaded and let ur legs hang out the side of ur open window..,.,if they can,,,,,then another asshole will put u in boat and take u to a country that will maybe give a slow death......farmers cry only when they say there broke and still cry when there loaded, yes iam a country girl. u make me sick

@djc0248 We cannot process that many cows in Australia considering we only have a few abattoirs and they are in different states, we cannot afford nor allow our cows to be trucked for that long! There are hundreds of abattoirs in Indonesia only a few are doing the wrong thing, so why are you punishing us for their mistakes! Of course we want the cows killed humanly but we need to make money so our cows here don't die inhumanly of starvation! But no one thought about that did they?!?!

@TheMinistryofMe How 4 corners be biased? The program was an insight in to the Indonesian abattoirs, the researchers visited 11 all were the same or worse than this one in the video! No one will destroy your lives, NZ manned live export and farmers profit has risen, banning live export from Australia is the only way to keep control over animal welfare ans YES it would stop cruelty in Indonesia cause your cattle would NOT be there! Instead your cattle would be processed in Australia!

@djc0248 First of All the 4 Corners video may be truth but it is biased! Yes you may be 53 yo and work in an abattoir but i have been living on the station for 15 years! And if you think that by us saying Save Live Export, you think we don't mind the cruelty well then you are clueless, we devote our ENTIRE lives to animals, we are the last people to want them to be treated like this, but banning live export isn't going to stop it. Your just going to destroy our lives! Is that what you want?!?!

@TheMinistryofMe, how is it biased? Gouging eyes out, kicking and whipping defenseless animals, slaughtering and cutting up in plain view of other animals waiting their turn. We've seen this footage repeatedly, you must think we're stupid. At least have the decency to admit your wrongdoing. I don't care about your sob story, making your living from torturing and misery you inflict on defenseless animals. We've heard it all before, only the lowest of the low profits from cruelty.

@radiobrain1000 Yes i am saying that a video from the RSPCA is biased! Because it is!! They said tonight on the news that they care about the cattle industry and THAT is a blatant lie because i am in the cattle industry, i live on a cattle station up north of Australia, the ban has only been in work for a couple of days and already it has impacted us big time!! i have family who have worked on these ships and who have been to indonesian abattoirs and this video is all truth!! I know!!!

Its funny because everyone who has commented on this video sayings its all lies and its a joke are completely wrong! This video is completely true, Australia has one of the best and most advanced Livestock Transport companies in the world, and go to great lengths to make sure that the livestock aboard are well taken cared of. Don't make comments and judge an entire industry because you watched some biased video made by the RSPCA because you are all ill educated on the subject!!!
