This is a short film about the work being done by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds to monitor and protect peregrine falcons at Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Every summer, the two organisations run a viewpoint as part of the RSPB 'A date with nature' project, located at the base of Malham Cove so that members of the public can watch the peregrines and other wildlife in the area. For more details, see http://www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/peregrines.htm.

The film has been made by Joe Tuck as part of his final project for a masters degree in Biological Photography and Imaging. More details of Joe's work can be found on his website, http://www.joetuck.com. Be sure to see his other films about nature conservation in the Yorkshire Dales on red squirrels, white-clawed crayfish and bats.
