At the 7:50 mark Sagan talks about Voyager leaving the solar system. Well thats happening right now, July-Aug-Sept 2011. Voyager 1 does not detect any solar wind from the sun. It has reached the void of open space.

Carl Sagan still lives on in our hearts and minds. We must never forget him. We shall keep his memory alive. We still have Carl Sagan's COSMOS, a gift we can give to our children and grandchildren.
