thanks for the lesson, I am not familiar with what this prog can do. Sometimes you were rushing a bit, why, just make a part one and part 2 - not need to rush to get it into one video lesson.

Layers are used to seperate parts of your drawing. Text on one layer, a shape on another, etc. If you put a certain thing on one layer, say the outline of a nose, you can go back later and delete that out, etc. Think of it like taking 7 plastic transparencies, one on to of each other, with containing parts of a person's face. You can re arrange each part separately and edit each part separately without disturbing the other parts or the whole painting. Get what I'm saying?
