The 1993 civic I recently bought came with a set of Sonar headlights with Angel Eyes installed on it. The Stock LEDs are burnt out so I am replacing them and modifying the light ring as well to increase the light they give off.

Planning on filming a How Too on how to disassemble, and modify them to get these results.

  • hmm gives me an idea for a better gundam cosplay XD

  • @00gundamreviews Dude, these things draw almost no power. If you could solder a battery pack for it, all it would take is 4 AA batteries to power this, or with a different resistor a 9v would do it.

  • when will you first armor suit? The birth of Iron BikeWolfTrash Man

  • @VectorPrime2007 that might be a stretch for me.

  • Arc Reactor??

  • @JuantonimoBay hmmmm... doable.

  • hey bud, heres an idea to make em brighter... ive seen it done before.. put reflective tape along the back of the halo... and if you want to make it even more efficient.. put the tape arounf the LEDs.. what it does is the reflective tape traps in more light without absorbing any.. keeping heat low. good luck

  • did you buy a car? and are you putting them on your car or your truck?

  • cool stuff man

  • Looks prety nice. ^_^

  • @Unicronsupreme It's because the Angeleyes effect is parking light only. Some countries they're illegal if the ring effect is too bright - they need to be dim. Afaik only BMW are allowed full light angeleyes since it's a patent from BMW orginally.

  • Those are car headlights? They seem really really dim to me. Is that normal or is it because they're old?

  • Looks pretty sweet. Make sure you give us a shot of the final product.

And I am also in favor of a BTW armored mech suit.
