im really twisting my head around buying this thing, or buying the mopho, the only concern I have is I can't figure out how many VCO"s this thing has, it is possible to run 2 waveforms at the same time or not?

DE has exactly one VCO. (Actually DE is ONE VOICE for polyphonic synthesizer) Waveform Switch selects point on the circuit where oscillation is being passed to next modules. You can also get some cute modulations with PWM, VCF LFM etc.

@Popoldabboy: Usually good lead instrument is also good bass instrument. Both instrument type requires fatness. I can't call DE's envelope generator too great, but it can make short attack and punch.

When you turn the filter amount (cutoff) it sounds quite stepped.  I heard it stepped on a different video demo. Anyway, maybe something wrong with my ears, this should be smooth.
