http://bit.ly/21test The 21-Item Neuropsychological Test App is a test for exaggeration of existing problems or poor effort during the course of neuropsychological testing. The 21-Item Test was designed to be used by licensed clinicians and doctors to detect poor effort during the course of neuropsychological testing.

The App includes the instructional manual and comes with ten (10) initial tests. Additional tests may be purchased using in app purchase for as little as $1 each. Test results are available immediately after completion of the test. A separate End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) is presented to the purchaser prior to the App being sold. This EULA outlines the responsibilities of the clinician or doctor to safeguard patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements and makes it clear that this App is intended for medical professionals.

Pricing for this App is consistent with traditional "paper based" instruments used for neuropsychological testing. There is no limit on the number of patients that can be tested. Additionally, patients can be retested multiple times with each of their scores being maintained in the App. Patient information can be deleted at any time. More details on the medical aspects of this test are provided as follows:

In the context of a neuropsychological examination, bias refers to a systematic source of variability in test performance that is relatively independent from the individual's true level of ability. Bias can influence both the reliability (e.g., consistency and stability) and validity of neuropsychological test performance. One obvious form of bias is a positive practice effect. Another form of bias is exaggeration of existing problems or poor effort during the course of neuropsychological testing. The 21-Item Test is designed to detect the latter form of bias.
