the jinns and the humans were created from different
substances. They have different capabilities, different forms, different shapes and
different characteristics. They both will be judged on judgment day. In order to be held
accountable for their deeds during their lifetime, they have to know and understand
ALLAH’s laws and rules. Only intelligent creatures can know and understand. Therefore,
the only thing that the jinns and the humans have in common is that they both are
intelligent crt

Its referring to two bodies of water that collide into each but do not mix. a barrier is formed, IE Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Salinity of each body is different and thus do no mix. Same with rivers dumping into the ocean. Get it?
