Yeah, I know who Martinez is. He's Bob Martinez, former Governor of Florida, and Mayor of Tampa. In 1989, he had "As Nasty as They Wanna Be" banned in the state, and arrested record store owners for selling "obscene materials".
It took until 1992 for a federal appeals court to finally rule that music containing dirty words is protected by the First Amendment, and that Martinez (as well as Nick Navarro, Tampa Sheriff) were 100% in the wrong when banning music in the USA.
