3.0 beta 4 firmware warning!!! for iphone 2g/3g, ipod touch 1g/2g

Do NOT restore or update to 3.0 beta 4 ,3 , 2 firmwares there are lots of bugs that have not been fixed.
I will post another video when the full firmware is available.

Well you might have to jailbreak it with quickfreedom it happened to me and the only way my pc read my iphone is if it was jailbroken

i did not jailbreak mine to 3.0 i was told by dev team that any version of 3.0 beta will slow down and crash your device that is why i made the vid.

sorry for the hastle i restored it eventually and officially upgraded it with itunes

well i'm running this beta on a 1st gen iPhone, so i dont have mms. Also im on AT&T and i don't think, i may be wrong, that you can upgrade and expect to keep your iPhone going with T-mobile. I don't think this beta supports the unlock just yet, so i would hold off on this.

The overall buggyness isnt too bad for being in the beta stage. It has definitely improved after beta 3.

Yes you can do that. it's simple.

upgrade to 3.0 beta 4, jailbreak it, then install the "installld" file through ssh. that can be found on the xsellize forums, as well as where to place the file. It's quite easy really. Good luck
