I have listened to this man's vibrato and studied it so closely, his tone, his portemento, no question this is the exquisite playing of Varga. I especially relish his downward portemento...so much admirable about is playing I just cannot even list them all..it's Ole Bull I have to thank for introducing me to the wonderful, wonderful violinist and I have urged everyone I know to listen..word of mouth! Many thanks to anyone who has posted and told others.

He was a fantastic violinist and teacher. I am very happy that posting his recordings on youtube has led to him being known to more people. I am sad I didn´t buy all of his recordings when I met him in Sion.

truly he is under-rated. it was only b'cos a friend told me about him that i came across this great violinist.
he shines best on these slower more expressive pieces but does the powerful stuff just as well
