@snapascrew That's kewl! Also kewl is that my son in law was a friend of one of the roadies or staff and every little bit he would text us from backstage and tell us what was coming up next including telling us he was sorry when the giant spider got hung in the ceiling and totally malfunctioned. It didn't matter. The show was GREAT!
Yea, and what sucked is that it was SO windy that night Geddy kept having to drink water, which I have never seen, because all the time he was singing with his mouth wide open, the wind was just drying him out. During the intermission I notices that when they came back out he had either some water or gel or something on his hair to keep it from blowing in his mouth. Best show ever though!! Thank you Rush, for coming to see us in Albuquerque!
I think Alex's solo is frkn the best in several tours for this one reason:
The super-fast run (3:15) downward finally starts on that higher fret (19 or so) for a few picked notes before descending the superfast run a la Exit Stage Left.
Ah well, for me it makes the difference, goosebumps, yodels, jumping, tears, adrenaline, righteousness, all those face-melting sentiments.
