  • I remember that one morning I woke up feeling really down. I suddenly received a prompting to read the lyrics to this song. So, I did. And I felt immediate comfort. I knew that Jesus and God will always be with me. Now I read these lyrics a lot of times when I am down, and I love the comfort that comes as a result <3

  • @MadeinheavenQueenfan The original hymn is a tribute to Finnish soldiers in the Winter war who kept Finland a free country. Many people die there so we could have a better future. FInland has a higher level of life than the other countries that got their independence later from RUssia, and that is thanks to the people who fought in the WInter war. It's one of the proud moments and songs of Finnish history and someone has the nerve to steal that.

  • Love love love!it!

  • @catt0993 Amen my friend. That is a beautiful testimony! May God always be your guide and compass

  • @EliasJordan3 Get your facts straight - Again. The national anthem of Finland is Maamme not Finlandia. It is an important national song for Finland however. It was composed in 1899 but the words were not written until 1941 by Koskenniemi . Several Christian poems were adapted to Finlandia the tune and made in to Hymn before 1941 so in fact they precede the words to Finlandia. Be Still My Soul included. It is probable that Seblius knew of the use of his music in Christian song

  • @dancingmadhatter I'm sure you'd like to hear Star Bangled Banner as praise Allah

  • @lstar59 The original piece is FInlandia by Sibelius. It's basically like a national anthem to FInland. So I don't think it's appropriate to take that tune and make it into something else. It's FInland's song. You wouldn't like if somebody ripped your county's national anthem off. These lyrics are disrespectful.

  • @EliasJordan3 Get your facts straight or you might be the person you are complaining about. The orginal music was part of a symphonic poem and later made into a stand alone piece. Look it up in Wikipedia. There are 6 different hymns that use the tune as well as a national anthem and national hymn. Copying music and modifying tunes and words has been going on for ages and still is. The lyrics are uplifting and inspiring.

  • @CaptainRidley the original is a amazing piece of music. this crap isn't

  • @MrPhfron This is an amazing piece of music. Just because it has to do with religion should mean nothing. Many of the classical masterpieces have to do with religion yet we hold them up as the highest level of musical art. Learn to live in a multicultural world of great diversety and enjoy the good all groups have to offer.

  • AWESOME VOICES

  • Jean Sibelius the composer was actualy christian.
