I'd rather follow that women's soccer player into battle than a pencil-necked geek like Bruce Fleming. I personally know 2 naval officers who did not meet Fleming's "qualifications" as students. One went on to teach Calculus at the Academy and the other teaches Leadership there. The latter, a former football player, is assistant department head. Both have signed to stay in and make the Navy their career. Fleming had a chance to serve is country in battle, but elected never to wear the uniform.

Couldn't agree more as a USNA grad. Football team is a joke there.

That Fleming guy is a complete douche - way to put the Academy in a bad light after they mad a huge step to diversity an officer corps. Sure, people fall through the cracks, but it happens everywhere. There are plenty of top achieving minorities at USNA. What a bitch.
