my 08 v6 Fusion hits the limiter at about a buck 12, no more :( I had an 06 Sonata v6 and never found the limiter, i ran out of road at 140 though.

I posted a video response twice but it doesnt look like it worked or wasnt approved, just look up (07 Ford Fusion 3.0L top speed 140mph), and look for my username, or another better quality vid but only 128mph is titled (Ford Fusion speed run 128mph)

for all the haters I uploaded a vid(crappy but something) that shows my Fusion at 139mph. I hit 140 after the camera moved. But there it is for all the haters bragging about there ricers being faster and such....top that losers...and to make it even better, I still had another gear waiting in about another 200 rpm...

@jsnevels2 also I'm trying to find a reasonably close airstrip that has open run days when they let people pony up a bit of cash to make top speed runs.....getting busted at 150mph on public roads isnt something you ever want to happen...

@jsnevels2 yes really....at some point I'll get some vid posted, just got a new 1080p camera, so when I get a chance I'll up load the vid...takes less time than you'd think to get to the 140mph.....I dont know how much more I'd get out of it, but the rate of decrease makes me guess that absolute top speed would be in the area of 145mph until I do some more mods to car, like custom RamAir intake, and full custom exhaust and a more aggressive tune, current tune is mild, with 249mph limiter...lol
