Learning Java is easy with the series of videos from LearnToProgram.tv! In this video tutorial the traditional "Hello World" program will be written in Java, dissected and explained. You can code along with long time trainer Mark Lassoff as you create, compile and run this first program in Java. After creating the Hello World program you will work with the instructor to fully understand the system.out.println and system.out.print commands. You'll output strings, the results of expressions and double values to the Java console.

This video is hosted by Mark Lassoff an experienced corporate trainer and video host. For more information on this video, or information on obtaining the entire Java series visit http://www.learntoprogram.tv.

  • Yahooooooo... I've been looking for a great tut on this subject to get into coding Java and I think I've found it. You have hit just the right pace for me in your presentation! Some tuts I have seen either move "mind numbingly slooooowwwlly" or so fast I can't take in what they are saying because they skip the "detailed but information I need to know. Great job! I'll be hanging out here watching tuts for a while. -Pappy
